The College Board, the administrator of the AP program in high schools across the
country, is introducing a new set of courses for students focused on career
readiness. These courses are structured to clear a path for all students to own their
future through career preparation.
AP's new Career Kickstart group of courses will
provide credentials and college credit for all students who want to prepare for a
career, whether they are heading to 2- or 4- year colleges, technical schools, or the
workforce.
Currently in development:
AP Cybersecurity
AP Networking
AP Business with Personal Finance
Career Kickstart is designed to address the engagement gap, create pathways
whether students are heading to 2- or 4- year colleges, technical schools, or the
workforce, and scale quality career-connected/CTE teaching and learning.
Join us for this program to learn about these new courses and how these and
potential other courses will play into the future labor force in the coming years.
