Event Description:
Southern Airways, together with Williamsport Regional Airport Director, Richard Howell, working with a consortium of elected officials and business leaders were successful in bringing commercial air service back to Lycoming County in May of last year. That service was recently expanded in January of this year with more frequency and an optimized schedule which allows for same day out and back service from IPT Airport to our nation's capital. Southern's partnership with United and American Airlines also allows for seamless travel and through-checking of luggage to over 100 destinations around the U.S.A and around the world. Southern would like to extend our sincere thanks to Richard Howell for all his work on our behalf over the past few years and to the Williamsport Chamber's leadership and members for their ongoing support.
