Summary: The Lease Operator I is responsible to ensure PGE’s operations are compliant with industry regulations, while performing general labor functions to maximize gas production.

- Conducts operational & analytical work on high pressure gas well locations including but not limited to the following activities.
- To complete the following activities the incumbent must be familiar with operating various hand tools, running hydraulic power tools and operating heavy equipment:
- Monitoring production (gas and water) rate and pressure trends Identifying problems with production equipment and completing minor repairs
- Timely report operational problems requiring assistance to Supervisor Plunger lift monitoring, inspection and maintenance
- Chemical Injection
- Set/Adjust pump rate and monitor tank levels Inspecting/testing dump lines
- Rebuilding/replacing separator dump valves
- Setting and adjusting pneumatic liquid dump control systems
- Testing, setting and rebuilding hydraulic and pneumatic ESD systems
- Adjusting/repairing/rebuilding chokes
- Purging sand separators
- Setting pressure regulators
- Monitoring levels on gauge tanks
- Operating dehydration systems and indirect heaters
- Monitoring/maintaining fluid levels
- Understanding fired equipment.
- Lighting equipment and adjusting flame Changing filters Understanding artificial lift applications
- Performing field inspections of well sites to ensure compliance and reporting/correcting non-compliance findings in a timely fashion.
- Managing and maintaining various environmental documentation, including record retention and tracking of report due dates.
- Assisting with implementation and execution of PGE’s environmental programs, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for forwarding inspection data to Environmental Supervisor for database entry used for reporting to internal contacts and regulatory compliance agencies.
- Work with all departments and operational staff in response to regulatory notices and reports.
- Compliance with ICPs and other emergency response duties.
- Performing JSA’s as needed Maintaining weekly operations report for Dispatch.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of oil/gas experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, math and oral communication skills.
- Complete familiarity in PC operations; spreadsheet knowledge preferred.
- Good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment.
